  I have a reason to believe that E&L Automotive Inc inspection facility doctored (altered) my vehicle to force me to pay them over $200 and to do repairs in their facility in order to pass NYS auto inspection.
  
  The same day earlier, before I came for inspection to E&L Automotive Inc, I brought the car to Mavis Discount Tire to prepare it for the inspection. I ask to check my vehicle and tell me what I have to fix in order to pass inspection. Mavis technician advised me to replace front tires and do front wheel alignment. He did not find any other technical issues in my car which will make it fail on inspection.
  
  I brought this car for inspection to E&L Automotive Inc and after 2.5 hours a technician call me and said that my car needs repairs which will cost me between $200 and 300 in order to pass inspection!
  
  After picking up the car and paying for failed inspection, I took my car to the same Mavis Discount Tire shop to check my car again. Mavis technician confirmed that he found an issue which wasn't there earlier. He said that he would absolutely notice that when he did the alignment and he was puzzled by what he saw. Mavis technician and manager would definitely advise me to replace this faulty part earlier (it was in their interests to get me pay for more repairs), but they did not, because there was no such problem existed when they were checking my car and performing front tires change and alignment.
  
  I find hard to trust statements of E&L Automotive Inc technician, taking into account what I have done to prepare for the inspection and what I’ve been told by a professional auto mechanics at Mavis.
  
  I sent a complaint to NY DMV and requested to give a warning in writing to the owner of E&L Automotive Inc and place a record on file with DMV about this incident to track the other possible fraudulent activity in this establishment.
